You can create and share payment links for your customers to easily purchase your goods or services once you have set up the payments tool. Payment links offer the ability to issue one time payments as well as recurring payments. Recurring payment links automatically collect payments using the customers’ payment information you have on file.

Payment links can be sent to your customers directly by texting it to them, adding it to your website, or even adding it to your email signature. You also have the ability to test your payment links prior to sending it to your customer by using Textedly’s test payment information.

Please keep in mind that to use payment links, your company must be headquartered in the United States and you must accept payments in USD. Additionally, you must be the main parent account holder to create, edit, or delete payment links.

Create an Invoice

  • In your Textedly account, navigate to Payments.

  • In the upper right corner of your screen, click Request Payment.

To create a one time invoice, select Send Invoice, enter the dollar amount, and click Create Invoice.

You will now form your invoice message. Select which phone number to send the invoice from, edit the message to your liking, and click the Send Message Now button.

Invoices cannot be sent to a large group and are an individual way to collect payment.

Charge a Card Directly

  • In your Textedly account, navigate to Payments.

  • In the upper right corner of your screen, click Request Payment.

Select Charge Card, enter the dollar amount, and click Create Invoice.

Enter the card information and select Charge Credit Card.

Managing Payment Links

You can edit and delete payment links from the Activity tab.

  • Use the search bar in the top left to look up a payment link by customer name.

  • Click the 3 dots to open a dropdown menu. Here you will be able to:

    • Cancel Payment Request

    • View Payment Link

    • Set a Reminder

    • Mark as Paid
