Textedly is "The World's Best Text Messaging Company" for many reasons. One of those reason is that Textedly seamlessly integrates with Zapier. By utilizing Textedly and Zapier, any integration that you can dream up, can be accomplished in the speed of light! You don't even need to know how to code or install any software. Because it is that easy! Zapier lets you automate the processes with a useful tool called Zaps.
Follow these step-by-step instructions to get started and quickly connect Textedly to Slack, Salesforce, HubSpot, Intercom, Pipedrive, and thousands of more applications!
Together, let's build your first Zap.
In the example to follow, we'll create a Zap that adds your new Textedly subscribers contact information right into your Slack channel. You will follow these same exact steps when integrating Textedly + Zapier to any other application you want.
1. Log in to your Textedly account
Go to the App Tools section inside your Textedly account and find Zapier. Activate the Zapier App for FREE! Upon activation, you will instantly get a unique API Token that will be used inside your Zapier account as outlined in step 4 below.
2. Log in to your Zapier account
Go to your Zapier account, and click on MAKE A ZAP. If you don't have a Zapier account, you can create one for free at www.zapier.com
Next, search for Textedly inside the search box. Once Textedly comes up, click on the Textedly icon.
3. Choose an Event you want to use
At this point, you will be asked to choose which main trigger Event that you want to enable. There are several Textedly Events you can choose from. (We are constantly adding more. So feel free to check back regularly and create more Zaps).
Choose the Event you want from above, and then click the CONTINUE button
4. Link Textedly with Zapier
At this point, you will be asked to link your Textedly account with your Zapier account.
Click on Sign in to Textedly
A new box will pop up that will look like the image below. Now is the time for you to copy and past your unique API Token that you got from within your Textedly account, as outlined in step 1 above. Then click Yes, Continue
This will automatically connect your Textedly account to your Zapier account. The next step is to click on Test trigger
5. Choose which App you want to connect
Zapier allows you to connect your Textedly account to over 1,000+ apps. Send data from Textedly into Slack, Salesforce, HubSpot, Intercom, Pipedrive, and so many others. In the example below we will connect a Slack account. Search for Slack in the search bar.
Next, click on the Slack icon. Then choose what the Slack Event you want your Textedly data to flow into.
After choosing your Slack Event, the next step will be to sign into your Slack account. This will be the final step. Now you can set your Zap live.
6. Celebrate
You did it! Jump up and down and all around! No need to really do this. Play it cool if you want. But please be assured that we are very proud of you as you just made your first Zap. Repeat steps 1-6 to connect any other app that you want.
