How to Use Conversation Triggers

Activate Conversation Triggers

To get started, you’ll need to activate the feature:

  1. Go to the App Store section in your Textedly dashboard.

  2. Locate Conversation Triggers and activate the app for free✨.

Once activated, you'll be able to create your custom trigger-based messages!

The Trigger Text refers to the word that a contact texts into your number in order to trigger a specific message to send.

To create a Conversation Trigger workflow:

  1. Name the Conversation Trigger set you are creating.

  2. Create the trigger text and message body you would like to be sent when a contact texts in the trigger word.

  3. Click Save, Easy peasy! 👍

You can subtly use conversation triggers in conjunction with any other Textedly feature and experience the ease of automation!

Advertise your trigger words at the local farmers market to deliver a custom message, or send a mass text to your existing contact list asking them to respond with a trigger word for more information. The opportunities are endless! 😎
